HOPE Trip 2026
HOPE Trip 2026
Our students and colleagues Ms McQuinn and Ms Looney took learning beyond borders as they travelled to Kolkata for the HOPE Immersion Programme this midterm. Through meaningful engagement, cultural exchange, and on-ground experiences, they witnessed resilience, compassion, and hope in action.
Sr. Mary Dineen visits as part of the 250 year anniversary.
The Presentation Order in Cork is celebrating the 250th anniversary of its founding by Nano Nagle in 1775. To mark this SR. Mary Dineen visited our school and gave our first year students an inspirational talk; sharing memories, wisdom and the spirit of the Presentation education that continues to thrive in our CEIST School.
Even more beautifully, we celebrated the family connection of her grandniece Kate, as a first - year student, marking a new chapter in a legacy rooted in faith, compassion and education.
Past Pupil Addressing European Commission
We are incredibly proud to share an inspiring achievement from one of our past students Nicole Marinos
Earlier this year, Nicole was invited by the European Commission to speak as a panellist at the European Day of Persons with Disabilities (EDPD) 2025 Conference in Brussels.
Opening the first panel, Nicole shared a powerful personal testimony on experiences of inclusion and exclusion. Nicole’s contribution received an overwhelmingly positive response and deeply resonated with attendees.
Following this, Nicole has since been invited to speak at several further events, including an upcoming address to the European Parliament on World Hearing Day this March, marking a return to Brussels once again.
We are immensely proud to see former students using their voices to create meaningful change and to advocate for inclusive education.
