Incredible Success at the Munster Schools Athletics!

A massive congratulations to Isabelle Crowley (1C), Sophia Nwaedozie (2B), and Orlaith Byrne (TY5), who proudly represented our school at the Munster Schools Athletics competition in Castleisland, Co. Kerry last Saturday.

Our athletes put on an outstanding performance:

  • Isabelle Crowley ran a brilliant race in the Junior Girls 1500m, securing a strong 5th-place finish.

  • Sophia Nwaedozie dominated the Junior Girls jumps, taking 1st place in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump.

  • Orlaith Byrne cleared the competition in the Senior Girls High Jump, also claiming a fantastic 1st place finish.

Thanks to their gold-medal performances, both Sophia and Orlaith have officially qualified for the All-Ireland Championships in two weeks' time!

We are incredibly proud of all three girls for their hard work and dedication. Huge congratulations to you all, and the very best of luck to Sophia and Orlaith as they head to the All-Irelands! 🏆🏃‍♀️
