Congratulations to Gemma Cremen, a transition year student who just recently won a four day, all expenses paid trip to Strasbourg. Gemma was one of 29 students chosen to represent Ireland in the annual Euroscola Competition. Gemma will spend one full day visiting the European Parliament where she will communicate and debate with students from all of the other European countries. She will also get the opportunity to go on a guided tour of the city of Strasbourg and will partake in lots of activities while there. Gemma won this prize by taking part in an online quiz in her European Studies class. We wish her all the best on her trip to Strasbourg and look forward to hearing about her the adventure on her return. |
