Some of the aims of the Guidance Syllabus are:
To enable students to study chosen career areas.
To provide students with information enabling them to make effective decisions about third level education.
To provide students with information regarding subject options and to help them make informed decisions about suitable subjecet choices.
To provide opportunities for reflection and discussion.
To provide guidance and support to students experiencing any difficulties at school.
